IRT Access have been engaged every year since 2006 to keep on top of the concrete issues. Every year after an engineers report (which we often assist with) we attend site to rectify any issues on the precast concrete panels. After removing all spalling material and cleaning all corroded reinforcement we perform structural concrete repairs including the tricky exposed aggregate finish to match the existing surface.
Major render repairs were required on this building due predominantly to poorly rendered slab bands, after removing all drummy materials we then installed functional expansion joints to prevent further render delamination. All repairs were then painted to colour match the facade.
